Xingcheng Special Steel Co., LTD., as the affiliated unit of the secretariat of the Bearing Steel Sub-Technical Committee of the National Steel Standardization Technical Committee (hereinafter referred to as the "National Steel Standards Committee"), co-organized this meeting. The meeting adopted the mode of "online + offline". More than 50 members and representatives from nearly 30 bearing users, colleges and universities and bearing steel production enterprises in China participated in the meeting.
Bai Yun, deputy general manager, chief engineer, director of the Research Institute of Xingcheng Special Steel and deputy director of the Bearing Steel Sub-committee, said in his speech that in the past year, under the joint efforts of the members, the Bearing steel Sub-Committee has carried out a lot of work in optimizing and improving the bearing steel standard system, promoting the internationalization of the bearing steel standard, improving the standard technical service and strengthening the construction of the bearing steel Sub-committee. Outstanding achievements have been made. On behalf of China, we successfully fought for the right to revise the ISO 683-17 "Heat-treated Steel, Alloy Steel and free-cutting Steel Part 17: Ball and Roller Bearing Steel" standard, which was the first international standard led by Chinese experts in the field of ISO special steel and achieved a historic breakthrough. Bearing Steel Sub-Committee will continue under the guidance of the Steel Standards Committee, always adhere to the national industrial policy, the urgent need for industrial development, aiming at the international market, actively organize standard research and promotion activities of key products in the field of bearing steel, continue to improve and improve the bearing steel standard system.
At the meeting, Secretary General Meng Yu made an annual work report on behalf of the sub-committee, and Deputy Secretary General Yan Chengming made an exchange and discussion on the optimization scheme of the standard system in the field of bearing steel. At the same time, the participants had a heated discussion on the three standards, and successfully completed the approval of GB/T 28417 "Carbon Bearing Steel", YB/T "Rare Earth Steel Part 3: Rare Earth High carbon chromium Bearing Steel", and YB/T "Bearing Steel for Shield Tunneling Machine". Among them, the GB/T 28417 Carbon Bearing Steel standard led by Xingcheng Special Steel has been approved as the "international leading" level.
Xingcheng Special Steel attaches great importance to standardization. Over the years, Xingcheng Special Steel has actively participated in the relevant work of the National Steel Standards Committee and 15 sub-committees, such as wire rod, special steel, steel plate and steel strip. In the annual meeting of the National Steel Standards Committee held at the same time, Xingcheng Special Steel won the "Excellent Organization Award for Standardization", Baiyun won the "Outstanding Contribution Award for Standardization Workers" and the title of "Excellent Member of the National Steel Standards Committee".
On the way of implementing the "National Standardization Development Outline", Xingcheng Special Steel constantly practices the new development model of new product research and development, technological innovation, standard research and development, and promotes the integration and innovation of standardization and high-quality development. In 2022, 9 standard projects will be submitted, 2 row and 2 group bids will be issued by the first drafting unit, and the international standard ISO 6819 "Wire Rod for Bridge Cable Wire" will be advanced to the DIS stage. At the same time, the company actively promotes the construction of standardization projects. This year, we successfully won the bid of Jiangsu Special Steel Material Standard System Construction Project and passed the evaluation. Jiangsu Province Special Steel Technical Standard Innovation Base and Jiangsu Province Special steel Industrial tourism standardization pilot projects are progressing in an orderly way.
